Alpha Pi Epsilon at a Glance
A Bit of Background
Alpha Pi Epsilon Chapter was chartered on May 5th, 1989. It was a tedious journey and like all new chapters, it was difficult to find out where and how to begin. Everything was trial and error. As the years added up, new officer teams and chapter members brought in more definitive meaning and purpose within this chapter. Alpha Pi Epsilon was dormant for about 4 years, but in Spring 2010 Myriam Moody was appointed to be the Advisor when the Honors Committee wanted to reactivate the chapter. Myriam Moody worked diligently with her chapter members, who are committed to the purpose and vision of Phi Theta Kappa, has earned them a 5 Star Chapter within in their region of Nevada/California and Phi Theta Kappa as a whole. There were 11 chapters that founded the Nevada/California Region. Alpha Pi Epsilon was one of the founding chapters. As a chapter, they have their own “secret sauce” to their success, come and find out and you will find out the core value of this amazing Chapter.
